ABOUT US

/ STRUCTURE AND PEOPLE

In Bantu e.V. we are using Sociocracy and follow the idea that „those who associate together, should govern together”. Therefore our Work is structured in Circles, in which authority and decision-making are distributed throughout the self organized team. With that we aim to decentralize authority. Rather than majority voting, we’re making decisions based on consent.

Our team wants to share what it has in abundance: positive energy, innovative approaches and a determination to address global inequalities between the Global North and the Global South – and Africa in particular – through our work. We want to develop networks with locally working organisations to support marginalised people, fight hunger and poverty and make resources accessible.

BOARD

Bantu holds elections for all the legal roles every 2 years. We do it with guidance of The Sociocratic Election Process, as it is important for us that every decision is consented on by all the members. Here is the list of the current Bantu legal positions and persons filling them.
